Weekly round up.

Well we have left the house a couple of times this week.

Tuesday we met some home ed friends at Wildwood. A great day was had by all, the girls loved the play park and the animals. It was good for us as the play park and cafe area were right by the entrance which meant very little walking was necessary to start with.....a bonus for me and hubby at the moment.

Wednesday Munch had craft club so we took the youngest to soft play and met some friends.

Thursday we were at the midwife, more bloods taken. Everything is going well except my blood count so despite trying to add lots of iron to diet I now have to take disgusting supplements or I can't have bubs at the birthing centre as I am considered a risk due to blood loss etc.

Friday we went to a new soft play centre with a larger group of home ed friends as our planned skate meet was cancelled due to a faulty ice machine (can't skate with no ice). We were all pretty exhausted by the time we got back but the ginja ninja had cooked a lovely meal and done lots of housework. He even popped out to grab me some raspberry leaf tea...he is good to me sometimes x

Other good news, lots of family babies due this year, 6 in total including ours so going to be busy. Also received a phone call asking us to go for an interview for a house we applied to ages ago that we were shortlisted for. They are still doing building work but fingers crossed we get it and they are finished so we are able to move in before baby comes (5 weeks and counting, talk about down to the wire)

Quick round up

Things have been pretty good here. Lots of family time and togetherness, just us and our extended family over the christmas period. Considering we only spent around £30 on the children....plus swapped our tent for a dolls house for them I think they did surprisingly well and have played with the dolls house and wooden train set the most. Which is all good as they have actually managed to share pretty well, especially once we set it up in the attic room so they had plenty of space to play. I am really gonna miss the extra room when we eventually move.

My mum got married new years eve and a she looked beautiful, bless her both my girls were bridesmaids as well as my niece. Tinkerbell loved being a princess for the day, and made a change from her usual spiderman ensemble. Is strange to think of Mum as Mrs Hodges as she has been Mrs B for thirty odd years, even after the divorce but she is very happy and Jimmy Wimmy is ok for an old geezer :-)

Don't really do New year's resolutions but I do plan to try and get a little bit more organised this year and we hope to eat healthier/ get more exercise as a family.

Hope everyone else had a good holiday season and is raring to go in 2013 xx
